End-to-End Travel Planning & Booking Platform

Overview

Gardeshgari Hoshmand was a tourism platform designed to help users plan and manage their trips in one place. The platform combined flight and hotel booking with destination guides, local recommendations, user-generated reviews, and travel information, creating a seamless experience similar to TripAdvisor while supporting direct booking workflows.

I contributed to the design of a multi-service travel platform that brought together trip planning, booking, and destination discovery into a unified user experience. The challenge was balancing content-rich exploration with task-oriented booking flows while keeping the experience intuitive and easy to navigate.

My work included user flow design, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI design. I focused on helping users move smoothly between discovering destinations, reading community reviews, comparing travel options, and completing bookings without unnecessary friction.

Special attention was given to content organization, search and filtering experiences, review visibility, and the integration of tourism information within transactional booking journeys. The goal was to support both exploratory travelers and users with a clear booking intent.

Impact

The project established a unified travel experience that reduced the need for users to switch between multiple services during trip planning. By combining booking capabilities with destination content and community insights, the platform supported more informed travel decisions and a smoother end-to-end journey.
