Lighten — Data Collection & Performance Analytics Platform

Overview

Lighten is a data collection and analytics platform that enables organizations to gather, validate, analyze, and monitor operational data through collaborative dashboards and performance tracking tools. The platform supports team collaboration, KPI management, and data-driven decision making.

I worked on the design of a data-intensive platform focused on data collection, validation, visualization, and performance monitoring. The system allowed users to manually enter information, upload datasets, and organize data through structured workflows before generating analytical insights.

My responsibilities included dashboard design, data visualization, workflow design, interaction design, and collaborative experience planning. I designed interfaces for data entry, drag-and-drop interactions, KPI definition, team access management, and reporting experiences.

One of the primary challenges was reducing complexity within highly analytical workflows. I focused on creating clear information hierarchies, simplifying data management processes, and helping users interpret large volumes of information through charts, metrics, and actionable dashboards.

Impact

The resulting platform enabled teams to collect, analyze, and share business data more efficiently while improving visibility into performance indicators and operational outcomes. Through structured workflows and analytics-focused design, the product supported more informed decision-making across organizations.
